Chalk Hill Ranch maintains an open door policy for horse trainers and other professionals to come give lessons, train horses and see to the other needs that a horse or rider might have. We also have a wonderful group of equine professionals that work at our barn on a regular basis if you are looking for lessons or training. Every professional that works at Chalk Hill Ranch is fully insured.
Horseback riding lessons are offered to riders of all ages and skill level. you are welcome to take a lesson on your own horse, or use one of ours for a slightly higher rate. Lessons are private or semi-private, and range from 30-60 minutes. Riders will learn to tack, untack, and care for their horse properly as part of the lesson until they are able to do so by themselves.
Our training programs are flexible and can be tailored to you and your horse, but most training sessions will include a riding lesson for you and/or your horse. Sometimes we will use our time in other ways, including, but not limited to: trails, round pen/groundwork, liberty work, ect. With over 20 years of horse experience, we feel confident that we know how to keep your equine companions happy , healthy, and feeling their Best!
Taylor offers relationship-based training to improve and cultivate the connection with your horse. There is no such thing as a problem horse, but rather a glitch in communication and understanding. Sometimes it is the rider in need of training rather than the horse. If you are looking to find that missing piece to the puzzle in your relationship with your horse, Chalk Hill Ranch is the place for you.
